It’s time for a free plugin news: IK Multimedia is giving away the T-RackS EQ 81 (worth €/$99.99) to all new and existing IK Newsletter subscribers.
Plus, all users of T-RackS 5 mixing and mastering plugin, including the complimentary T-RackS 5 CS, get the versatile British EQ model for free. So two free expansions for the T-RackS 5 CS plugin.
IK Multimedia T-RackS EQ 81
The T-RackS EQ 81 is an EQ that runs as an expansion in the free T-RackS 5 CS plugin. It delivers that legendary British warmth and tone with a few twists. The developers have modeled the original unit with all its unique character. It’s like the evolution of its older brother, the EQ 73.
There are few tweak that make the EQ 81 more versatile and flexible. The main difference is its EQ section that consists of four independent bands (high/low shelving, plus two midrange peaking filters) rounded out by high and low pass filters.
There is virtually no audio source EQ 81 isn’t capable of enhancing — midrange critical sources like vocals, acoustic or electric guitars, will benefit from the extended EQ capabilities, where the key frequencies are precisely tailored to always deliver musical results.
How Can I Get It?
- Log into or register an IK account and then head to your User Area
- Use the pop-up message to Redeem your promotional item and sign up for the Newsletter, if you’re not already
- Download and open the IK Product Manager
- Select Manage My Products, then using the Software tab, click the Install and Authorize button to the right of T-RackS 5
- If your T-RackS 5 is already authorized, hover over the Authorize button and click Re-Authorize
Users who don’t yet have any version of T-RackS 5 can simply download and install T-RackS 5 CS after having signed up for the newsletter and then clicked “Redeem” in their IK user area. The free CS version comes with 2 essential mixing tools: Classic T-RackS Equalizer, a high-quality 6-band parametric EQ as well as Metering, a limited version of the complete T-RackS 5 metering section.
